Slimware Ceramic Plate Set Review

Slimware Ceramic Plate SetSlimware Ceramic Plate Set Review

Slimware's Ceramic Plate Set is designed to look fabulous and also help you keep your portion sizes under control. The set contains four large dinner plates with a floral pattern. The flowers in the pattern actually dictate the healthy portion sizes, eliminating over-eating.

The Slimware concept is fairly new and a great way to watch how much you are eating. Sometimes it is easy to overload your plate and go to town, but these plates serve as a great reminder to how healthy portions should look. Each flower represents the amount of food that should be served.

The largest flower in the design is designated for the vegetable component of your meal. This should be the largest serving of your dinner and these plates help to remind you of that. The medium size flower is for the carb or side dish element of your meal. By keeping this portion controlled, you can still enjoy carbs without feeling stuffed and guilty. The smallest flower is for the protein or entree in your meal. This flower has an extension that allows you to enlarge the portion based on what type of entree you are eating. A helpful guide included with the set explains how to best use these portion controls.

In addition to encouraging healthier eating habits, these ceramic plates are extremely durable and well designed. They can be used in both the microwave and dishwasher without hurting the enamel. The beautiful floral pattern will be admired by guests at a dinner party and they won't even realize the purpose behind the design.
