This looks like the perfect page for me - my boyfriend teases me all the time since I don't know how to cook (and he makes everything), so this should be super useful! Thanks for putting this together!

My go-to cheap and healthy recipe in college was pita or naan pizzas. I would put plain tomato sauce on top, a little cheese, and basically every vegetable I could think of on top and it would still taste delicious!

Beef Paprika. Braise sliced striploin steak, two chopped onions and one cup sliced mushrooms in a pot. Add a cup of water, one teaspoon marjoram and one half teaspoon caraway seeds. Add two tablespoons of Hungarian paprika. Cover pot, lower heat and simmer for two hours until the meat is very tender. Thicken with flour and add salt and pepper to your taste. Serve over egg noodles or dumplings.

There is nothing wrong with healthy and easy! I'm pretty new to healthy cooking so I'm really taking in all the tips I can get!

Toast garlic chips in evoo, remove, add shrimp, then fresh spinach, add garlic back and serve. Less than 15 min. Delicious.

This is one of my favorites for a hot summer day and its healthy and this is all that you need but a ice cold glass of tea and maybe a garlic roll.

My favorite easy recipe...let me see. I think it would be simple salad without any cooking involved. After that, steak someone else grilled just perfectly for me. They're both healthy foods and I love them.

Cranberry Cilantro Quinoa Salad would be my favorite.

one pan penne and broccoli sounds like a family favorite

YUM that bonus recipe looks delicious. That one might be my fave.

Tonight we had healthy Nachos Grande! I lined a microwaveable plate with tortilla chips, low fat grated cheddar cheese and black beans, seasoned with pepper and chili powder. I microwaved each plate for about 40 seconds and served topped with salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, diced avocado, chipped green onion and fat free yogurt. Delicious!

I never thought about putting shrimp in a pasta before. It would be a good substitute for meat.

So nice to see a collection of easy recipes like this. They look really yummy, too. Thanks!

Yes! I need some beginner-level recipes!

I love eating chili all year-round the Heart Healthy Chicken Chili with Summer Squash sounds delicious! Plus, adding squash to chili in the summertime is a great way to make use of the seasonal veggie, and then, leftover chili freezes well, too!
