Fruit Infusion Pitcher Review

By: Julie Sammarco, Editor,

Enjoy refreshing lemon water, raspberry iced tea and more. This crystal clear acrylic pitcher has a removable fruit infusion rod that screws into the lid. The open slots in the rod allow liquid and fruit to mix naturally. Fill the rod with cut lemons, limes, raspberries for best results. Pitcher may be continually refilled without having to replace the fruit. 93 Ounce, 2.9 Quart. Hand-washing recommended.  BPA Free.

That's all great and dandy. But does it really work? How much flavor do you really get out of fresh fruit? These were the questions our team of reviewers wanted answered.

We were pleasantly surprised by many aspects of this pitcher. Here are our findings:

1) The pitcher fit easily into many standard refrigerator shelves, making it easily storable.

2) The rod was wide enough to fit many of the fruits we enjoyed without much slicing and dicing, making it simple and easy.

3) The flavors filled the entire pitcher. Seriously. Plus, we only needed to refill the fruit in the rod after about eight days. Lemons, cucumbers, and strawberries tended to stay longer than more delicate fruits like raspberries and blackberries.

Overall, a great pitcher for people who love to sip on flavored waters and teas. We also think this is a great product for parties and for everyday use. Bravo, Prodyne!
