Pecan Cornbread Stuffing

Pecan Cornbread Stuffing will contribute to a complex flavor palette at your Thanksgiving table. The corn bread recipe can be used to stuff chicken or turkey, depending on the occasion.

  • 1 cup onion, minced
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, minced
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup parsley, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 5 cups corn bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 3 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup cooking sherry


  1. Sauté onion, celery, and parsley in margarine for about 5 minutes or until tender.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Mix well.
