Spice Rub for Brisket

This Spice Rub for Brisket can be used on any cut of meat, but we like it best on brisket. The combination of the rub with the smokey barbecue flavor is delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Lawry's seasoned salt
  • 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper, coarsely ground

Instructions

  1. Combine spices in a bowl and whisk together until well mixed.

  2. Coat meat generously with spice rub.

  3. Fire up a grill with oak wood.

  4. Sear one side close to the fire, then turn and sear the other side.

  5. Raise the grill up away from the fire and cook about 20 minutes. Turn the meat and cook another 15 minutes or until done. depending on the size of the brisket.
