Tuna Fruity Mac Surprise
What is the surprise in tuna fruity mac surprise, you may ask? It's that its ingredients; tuna, fruit and macaroni, go together so well when they seemingly would have conflicting tastes. Tuna fruity mac surprise will surprise everyone who eats it.
Ingredients
- 1 8-ounce box elbow macaroni, cooked, drained and rinsed with cool water
- 1 2-ounce can tuna packed in spring water, drained and flaked
- 1/2 to 1 cup light mayonnaise
- 1 apple; peeled and cut into small pieces
- 2 8-ounce cans pineapple chunks in juice, drained
- 2 8-ounce cans mandarin orange pieces, drained
- 1 cup golden raisins
Instructions
- Mix tuna, 1/2 cup light mayonnaise, apple, pineapple, and raisins, then mix in macaroni.
- Gently add mandarin oranges; add additional mayonnaise if you want a more moist consistency.
- Chill in refridgerator and serve.

I'm not quite sure regarding the amount of tuna, didn't even know that they made it in 2 ounce cans. Seems like you wouldn't get much of a tuna taste. k.case
