Finally, there is a quick and easy way to make quinoa and all kinds of rice. The Lekue Quick Quinoa & Rice Cooker is a small, 2-piece set that allows you to make your favorite grains in the microwave. The cooker includes a timing guide, complete with ideas for steaming vegetables right in the cooker with the grains.

Quinoa and some of the healthier grains tend to take longer to cook on the stovetop; sometimes they can take up to 50 minutes to really cook through. That is why microwave cooking can really be an efficient way to make your grains. With this Lekue cooker, you can make brown rice in 18 minutes, and quinoa in just 11! All you need to do is add the desired grain and water to the cooker, and turn on the microwave; it really is that easy.

The size of the container allows you to make up to four servings of grain all in one round microwave cooking. You can rely on this small tool to make your sides for every meal without fuss. It is nice that you can -make the grains, wring any remaining liquid out, and then serve, all in one container. This means, less dishes and a built-in serving dish for your grain-based side dish.

After using the cooker, the two pieces can go right into the dishwasher or under hot water for a clean-up that is just as simple as the cooking process!
