Chocolate Saltine Toffee

Chocolate Saltine Toffee, also known as Christmas Crack, is one of the easiest and most addicting holiday dessert recipes we've come across. When you put chocolate and caramel together in a recipe that takes about ten minutes to make, you know you're in trouble. You won't want to, but try to save some for your guests. Also, because this easy chocolate recipe is made with saltine crackers and just a few other ingredients, it has fewer calories per servings than a traditional chocolate toffee recipe. The best part of this easy holiday recipe is cracking it apart after it's been cooled. So fun!

This is not a healthy recipe in my (cook)book, but it is definitely a FAVE. I love the sweet and salty easy recipes, like this one and the ones using Ritz crackers. They make addicting treats that you have to take to a party or potluck. If you keep them at home, you will find yourself eating all of it!

These don't seem all that healthy, but everything is okay in moderation... right?? I can't stop myself from loving the sweet and salty combination.

This looks delicious! I think my friends are getting tired of my yearly Viennese Vanilla Crescents which I bake for our cookie exchange. I will surprise everyone and make these instead.

I made this twice now, once with semi sweet and peanut butter chips and once with milk chocolate and peanut butter chips, both were huge hits, they've started calling me candyman.
