Ingredients

  • 1 Large head of cauliflower
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Heavy cream or milk
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley
  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 1 cup Finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon Swerve granular
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon Lime juice

Instructions:

  1. To make your bang bang cauliflower, you’ll start by adding your egg and heavy cream to a small bowl.

  2. Beat the egg mixture until well combined.

  3. In a separate larger bowl, add the almond flour and parmesan and lightly mix together with a fork or whisk.

  4. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

  5. After cleaning your cauliflower, cut it into bite-sized pieces and you can begin coating each piece.

  6. Dip each piece of cauliflower in the egg wash, letting any excess mixture drip off.

  7. Next, dip the cauliflower in the breading mixture and apply a bit of pressure so that it sticks.

  8. Set the coated cauliflower on the prepared baking sheet and repeat with the remaining cauliflower.

  9. When the cauliflower is all coated, pour enough oil into a pot so that it’s filled about 1 ½ inches up the pot. Turn the heat on and let the oil come to about 350 degrees.

  10. Once the oil is hot enough, place a few pieces of the coated cauliflower into the oil, tossing them until they are golden brown on all sides.

  11. Remove the cauliflower and place them on a baking sheet lined with paper towels.

  12. While the cauliflower cools, make the bang bang sauce by adding the mayonnaise, chili paste, swerve granular, sriracha, and lime juice to a small bowl.

  13. Whisk the sauce to combine all the ingredients. Drizzle the sauce over your bites, garnish with parsley, and enjoy!
