We love asparagus at our house and I prepare it quite often, especially when it is in season. I have been known to wrap it in a bit of bacon or ham for an added layer of taste.

Vegetable side dishes really don't get easier than this. I am from an Italian family, so I always have a block of fresh Parmigiano - reggiano in my refrigerator. All I have to do is grab some fresh asparagus from the farmer's market and I'm good to go! I use these same ingredients / technique when roasting other vegetables as well.
