Easy Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Do you love slow cooker recipes? How about chili recipes? Combine your two loves with this Easy Slow Cooker Turkey Chili recipe. Lean ground turkey is delicious and a great source of protein.

Notes

This can also cook on the low setting for 10 to 12 hours if preferred.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans kidney beans, well rinsed
  • 2 small cans tomato paste
  • 16 ounces canned tomatoes, cut up
  • 2 pounds lean ground turkey, browned and drained
  • 2 medium onions, chopped coarsely
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Put the beans, tomato paste, canned tomatoes, turkey, onions, celery, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper into the slow cooker. Stir to blend.
     
  2. Cover and cook on high for 5 to 6 hours.
