Cheesy Garlic Biscuits

These decadent garlic cheese biscuits, with a few healthy substitutions and a delicious Bisquick base, are a healthier and tasty option if you crave biscuits. These cheesy biscuits make for a top-tier Bisquick recipe.

Cooking Time10 min

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 2/3 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon chives, dried
  • 1/4 cup butter substitute, melted
  • Garlic, crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
     
  2. Melt butter substitute with the garlic. Set aside and keep warm.
     
  3. Mix Bisquick, milk, chives and cheese until a soft dough forms and beat vigorously 30 seconds.
     
  4. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
     
  5. Bake eight to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
     
  6. Brush garlic butter mixture over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.

Yes you can freeze leftovers and they taste better then the first you tried them! I love this recipe and I only have to feed myself! I freeze all the time!

There is only two of us. Can we freeze leftovers and warm them up at a later date?
