Ridiculously Easy Breakfast Bisquick Bake

With only 7 main ingredients, this Ridiculously Easy Breakfast Bisquick Bake recipe is by far one of the simplest recipes using Bisquick that won't wreck your healthy eating plan. By using some smart ingredient substitutions, you can actually make easy recipes using Bisquick good for you. Set aside 45 minutes to finish this breakfast dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean turkey sausage
  • 1 bunch of green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup reduced fat mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1 cup Heart Smart Bisquick
  • 6 ounces fat free sour cream
  • 3 eggs, or equivalent egg substitute suitable for baking
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 11x7-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
     
  2. Brown, drain and crumble the sausage. Place the cooked sausage into the pan, and then top with onions and cheese.
     
  3. Put the milk, Bisquick, sour cream, eggs, salt and black pepper in blender , and blend until everything is thoroughly combined. Pour the blended mixture over meat mixture.
     
  4. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until pie tests done in the middle.

Yummmmmy!!!! I have used Bisquick for many years and LOVE easy recipes with it! My Mom used it also and I learned many tricks and recipes from her. Bisquick is the BEST!! :) I do substitute cooked bacon for the sausage in this recipe sometimes depending on what I have on hand. Still Yummy!!
