This a great chopped salad recipe to serve at a picnic or a fourth of July barbeque party! The rainbow chard is much heartier than a standard lettuce, so it won't wilt as quickly in the summer heat. But if you can't find it, swiss chard would work nicely too, or even kale. I love the crunchiness of the walnuts and the apples!
