Microwaved Hungarian Fish Bake

This recipe is a perfect easy recipe for a quick dinner, and is healthier than most TV dinners. Amongst fish and seafood recipes, this cannot be beat. This is a great seafood recipe that works great for a quick meal.

Ingredients

  • 26 ounces thick fish fillets
  • flour
  • 1 cup non-fat or low-fat sour cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • chopped spring onions
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Cut the fillets into serving-size pieces, lightly flour them, and arrange in a serving dish.
     
  2. Combine the sour cream with the mustard, ginger, and herbs and add seasoning to taste. Pour the sauce over the fish and cover with greaseproof paper.
     
  3. Microwave on High for 4 minutes. Spoon the sauce over the fish and continue cooking on High 2 - 4 minutes or until the fish flakes when tested with a fork.
     
  4. Spoon the sauce over the fish again. Cover with finely chopped spring onions and sprinkle with paprika.
