Egg White Scramble

This is a recipe filled with nothing but pure goodness. Fill your morning with tons of rich, muscle-building proteins, and nutrient-rich vegetables.

Cooking Time30 min

Ingredients

  • 1 carton egg whites
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 10 asparagus spears
  • Seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat large sauté pan over med high heat.
     
  2. While pan is heating dice the pepper and onion and chop the asparagus.
     
  3. After pan is warm add the vegetables and sauté for another minute or so.
     
  4. When the vegetable are cooked, add the carton of egg whites (start stirring immediately so they don’t stick).
     
  5. When eggs are cooked, remove and serve hot.

I absolutely love the idea of starting out the day with a ton of veggies! I don't have much of a sweet tooth for things like oatmeal, cereal, pancakes, or muffins. I'd much rather have a savory dish like this. The veggie amounts aren't set in stone - use what you like or what you have on hand!

How many egg whites is a carton of egg whites? Or am I missing something?br /Thank you.br /M Halterman
