Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar or sugar substitute
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
     
  3. Spoon out in heaping large tablespoonfulls onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
     
  4. Flatten loosely with a fork and sugar then cook for 10 minutes; Remove to cooling rack after two minutes.

Followed directions, but mine are not good. They were OK right out of the oven, but turned really hard once cooled, Waist of ingredents. So Sad.

Oh my gosh!!!! These are great!!! I am going to be making them a lot....I used peanut butter with added omega 3's so on top of tasting great I added another good thing!

If you follow the recipe on the Kraft peanut butter jar, with 1/2 cup of sugar, and no vanilla, they are exceptionally good too......and half the sugar!!!

both ways sound with or withou chocolate chips but are they good for people that have sugar problems.

These cookies are VERY good. I make them all the time...adding chocolate chips to them on occasion.
