Peanut Butter Yummers

Formerly the "No Name Cookies," we here at FaveHealthyRecipes.com decided to now call these Peanut Butter Yummers! Regardless of whatever you elect to call these peanut butter cookies, this is still one of the best healthy cookie recipes out there.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup date sugar or SPLENDA® Brown Sugar Blend
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar, or equivalent sugar substitute
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cup white whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
     
  2. Sift sugars. Beat butter until soft. Add the sugar gradually and blend until creamy. Beat in eggs. peanut butter, salt and baking soda.
     
  3. Add the flour and vanilla to the batter and mix well. Roll the dough into small ball.s Place them on a greased cookie sheet. Press them flat with a fork (to make the traditional mark on the top of the cookie.
     
  4. Bake for about 15 minutes.

I would name them PBC Bites (Peanut Butter Cookie) because it looks like you can eat them in one bite!!

Finger Licking Peanut Butter Cookies

I would name it Date Night Peanutbutter Cookies because of the date sugar used in the recipe.

I would name them peanutty butter crinkles

Grandma's Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

I made these for my two year old great granddaughter and after she ate the first cookie she said more peanutbutter yummers, please!

I'd call them: "SWEET GEORGIA BROWNS"... "Sweet" because of the recipe using 2 kinds of sugars. "Georgia" recognizing the Georgia peanut growers. "Brown" for the unusual addition of whole wheat flour.
