Cocoa No Bake Cookies

Want to learn how to make no bake cookies? This recipe for no bake cookies is for you! Cocoa No Bake Cookies are easy to make and delicious to taste.

Notes

To hasten cooling, refrigerate on the baking sheets.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter substitute
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup reduced fat peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Use waxed paper to line 2 baking sheets.
     
  2. In a saucepan, mix together skim milk, sugar, butter substitute, and cocoa. Bring to a rolling boil for one minute.
     
  3. Remove from heat and stir in reduced fat peanut butter and vanilla.
     
  4. Mix in oats.
     
  5. Drop a teaspoonful of the mixture onto waxed paper and let it cool.

These 'cookies' are wonderful! I substituted Splenda for 1/2 cup of the sugar, making them even better for husband (he has Type-2 diabetes). Quick, easy and delicious.
