I have loved cold sesame noodles for as long as I can remember…my mom even used to bring them home from the grocery store deli as a special lunch treat! I spent years perfecting my own recipe (the right amount of toasted sesame oil is key), and this is a true winner. My local supermarket carries a great selection of ethnic specialty foods from around the world, and I especially like the super thin rice / egg noodles in the Asian section. I can't wait to pick some up on my next shopping trip and try this! The recipe for the made - from scratch sauce looks much healthier than the stuff in the bottle, and quite kid friendly since it doesn't have hot pepper in it!
