    Chester's Bisquick Chicken Casserole

    Chester's name has really spread after he created this healthy baked chicken recipe back in 1965. Chicken casserole recipes are always popular with the family and kids especially. Enjoy this easy chicken casserole recipe from a champion local chef!

    Ingredients

    • 3 cups cut-up boneless chicken or lean turkey
    • 2 cans low sodium cream of mushroom soup
    • 16 ounces mixed vegetables
    • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning (low sodium if available)
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic
    • 2 cups baking mix (Bisquik or other)
    • 1 1/2 cup fat free milk
    • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
       
    2. Mix chicken, low sodium soup, vegetables, poultry seasoning, and garlic.
       
    3. Pour mixture into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
       
    4. Stir in Bisquick and fat free milk until blended. Pour over chicken mixture. Sprinkle with parsley.
       
    5. Bake 30 to 32 minutes until crust is a golden, brown.

    @sierrakh 7887355, It's not a bad idea to precook the chicken. Feel free to bake it, grill it, broil it or broil it. You can also under-cook it slightly because you'll be finishing it off in the oven with the casserole. I hope this helps! --Editors of FaveHealthyRecipes
