Ferrero Fudge

By: Adele of Vegie Head (www.vegiehead.com)
This image courtesy of vegiehead.com

There are two main reasons why this Ferrero Fudge recipe from Adele of Vegie Head (www.vegiehead.com) is one of the best. One, there's no baking required to make this chocolate fudge recipe. Two, this simple fudge recipe is healthier by not having milk or eggs in it.

Notes

As with all raw recipes, you need to taste and add little bits at a time, these measurements are a rough guide.

Makes1 small batch

Preparation Time3 min

Chilling Time4 hr

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut butter
  • 1/4 cup agave syrup
  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup cacao butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste

Instructions

  1. Put the coconut butter, agave syrup, hazelnuts, cacao powder, cacaco butter, and vanilla bean paste in a blender or food processor and blend on high for 2 minutes, scraping down the sides occasionally. Use a little bit more agave to emulsify. Don't use water, as it will change the appearance, texture and taste.

  2. Pour into a little brownie dish, and allow to set for 3 to 4 hours in the fridge.
