Cranberry Sauce with a Kick

Cooking Time4 hr 15 min

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-ounce) package of fresh cranberries
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar substitute
  • 2 tablespoons fresh-sqeezed orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier or other orange-flavored liqueur

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F degrees.
     
  2. Place cranberries in glass baking dish.
     
  3. Sprinkle sugar, then orange juice over cranberries.
     
  4. Cover dish tightly with foil.
     
  5. Bake about 1 hour, or until juices form and cranberries are very soft.
     
  6. Uncover and mix in liqueur.
     
  7. Cover and refrigerate until very cold, about 4 hours.
