    • 5 cups marinara sauce
    • 2 green peppers, sliced
    • 1 1/2 cup Great Northern beans
    • 1 cup wheat berries
    • 6 small potatoes, cut in half with the skins still one
    • 1 large onion, sliced
    • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    • 5 teaspoons ground cumin
    • 3 teaspoons tumeric
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
    • Water

    Instructions

    1. In the slow cooker, mix together the marinara sauce, green peppers, beans, potatoes, onion, garlic, cumin, turmeric and black pepper.
       
    2. Pour water into the slow cooker until all the ingredients are covered.
       
    3. Cook on high for 8 to 10 hours.
