Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean chopped or ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups Pomi Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix the chopped beef with the breadcrumbs, egg, salt and pepper.
     
  2. Form into one-inch balls and fry in a large skillet with oil until browned.
     
  3. Remove the oil and add Pomì and the remaining ingredients.
     
  4. Lower heat, cover tightly and simmer slowly for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
