Salad-making has never been so easy, and fun! With the Good Cooking Salad Maker from SCS Direct you can make a salad faster and easier than ever.

With 5 attachments you can grate, shred, slice and grind your veggies for a fabulous looking salad. This gadget is easy to use, put together and clean. With a one-touch button control you'll be ready to eat in no time. Simply place the desired color cone insert into the drum holder, secure the cone with the drum fastener (which is included), and place the item into the tube and press down with the food pusher to guide it into the slicer; it's that simple. The cones are easy to switch just by unlocking the drum fastener.

The 5 cones included are a wavy slicer, a thin slicer, a coarse grater, a fine grater and a grinder. The thin slicer is perfect for making smooth cucumbers, zucchinis, and apples, while the wavy slicer is great for making wavy cucumbers, carrots, and potatoes; it reminded me of Lay's ruffle chips, so if you're in need of a fancy display for your guests then you'll love this cone. The fine grater is fun to use for shredding carrots and coconuts. I tried the coarse grater with a block of cheese and it shredded very nicely.

The Good Cooking Electronic Salad Shredder can be used with vegetables, fruits, nuts, cheese, chocolate and more. Make the best chocolate shavings for your banana split! The best part about the attachments is that they're dishwasher safe, so you can make the mess without having to clean it up. It comes with an instruction manual and parts list, but it’s pretty easy to figure out on your own; the only reason I actually needed to use it was to figure out how to take the cone out of the drum. The one and only thing I didn't like about the shredder is that it was really loud. It's definitely not something to use if you have someone napping in the house, but it certainly makes the most delicious looking salad out there.
