Reduced Fat 7 Layer Tex Mex Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 large cans reduced-fat bean dip
  • 3 avocados, peeled and mashed
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 dash garlic salt
  • 16 ounces reduced-fat or low-fat sour cream
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped fine
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced, seeds removed, patted dry on paper towels, and diced
  • 1 small can sliced black olives, drained, patted dry, and chopped
  • 4 to 8 ounces reduced-fat or low-fat cheddar cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Drain water from bean dip and spread on bottom of a rectangular cake dish.
     
  2. Mix avocados, lemon juice and garlic salt well and spread over bean dip layer.

  3. Add sour cream and taco mix, stir well and spread over avocado layer.
     
  4. Sprinkle green onions over sour cream layer.
     
  5. Spinkle tomatoes over onions.
     
  6. Sprinkle olives over tomatoes.
     
  7. Sprinkle cheese over black olives.
     
  8. Refrigerate dip until ready to serve.
