Wendy's Chili No Guilt

Wendy's Chili -- No guilt tastes just like the real recipe with less fat and less of the calories in Wendy's chili!

Cooking Time3 hr

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1 29-ounce can low sodium tomato sauce
  • 1 29-ounce can kidney beans with liquid
  • 1 29-ounce can pinto beans with liquid
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 green chiles, diced
  • 1 rib celery, diced
  • 3 medium-sized tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons cumin powder
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Brown the lean ground beef (or ground turkey) and drain the fat off.
     
  2. Crumble the cooked beef (or turkey) into pea size pieces.
     
  3. In a large pot, combine the beef (or turkey) with the remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer over low heat.
     
  4. Cook, stirring every 15 minutes, for 2 to 3 hours.

@cogramma, We apologize for the inconvenience. Often times, we do suggest to our readers to go to the page and highlight the text, then right-click on it. You'll get a window that gives you the option to "copy." Do that, and then paste the text into a word document. You should be able print that document that way. I have tried printing this recipe out several times on several different printers and get the same result. The printing STOPS during line 3: i.e. In a large pot combine the beef (or turkey) with the remaining..... AND it does NOT print the rest of the instructions no matter what!! I've tried just printing the 1st page only and then both pages as it shows in 'print preview' through Google but still NO success. Can you please check the margin settings allowance setting on your website so this will print out correctly. For now I will have to copy & paste into a WORD DOC and print it out that way. :( Thank you..
