    Ingredients

    • 1 onion, sliced thinly
    • 2 tablespoons fresh garlic, crushed
    • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, crushed
    • 1 pound lean ground turkey
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon black pepper
    • 2 tablespoons light oil
    • 8 ounces frozen green peas
    • 3 tablespoons curry powder

    Instructions

    1. Combine lean ground turkey, salt, pepper, garlic, fresh ginger and curry powder in a bowl; mix well.
       
    2. Heat oil on medium heat and saute onion until slightly golden brown.
       
    3. Add turkey mixture and mix well. Cover and cook for 15 minutes, or until turkey meat is cooked. Stir occasionally.
       
    4. Add frozen peas, stir well to coat them, cover and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. When the peas are soft and tender, turn off heat.
