Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar substitute
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest or orange zest
  • Cinnamon, to taste
  • Cloves, to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan.
     
  2. Heat until mixture begins to boil, stirring until sugar has dissolved.
     
  3. Cook about 10 minutes, or until berries have all burst and liquid is reduced.
     
  4. Add in cinnamon, cloves and lemon or orange zest before the sauce completely thickens.
