Cooking MethodSlow Cooker

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces can mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 pound lean round steak, cubed
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 cup hot water with 3 low sodium bouillon cubes
  • 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pound can Chinese vegetables
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Combine mushrooms, steak, celery, onions, bouillon water, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vegetables and cornstarch water in a slow cooker.
     
  2. Cook eight to 10 hours in slow cooker on low.
     
  3. One hour before serving add Chinese vegetables and cornstarch and water.
