Carrot Coriander Tomatillo Sauce

For a sinfully gluten free way to add flavor to any recipe, use this Carrot Coriander Tomatillo Sauce from Kettle Cuisine. Chock full of flavor, this dairy and gluten free works on everything from grilled chicken and pork to enchiladas.

  • 1 bowl Kettle Cuisine Organic Carrot and Coriander Soup
  • 1/4 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup tomatillos, roasted or canned
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sherry vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice, fresh squeezed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ancho chile
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin, ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, finely chopped


  1. Thaw soup in the refrigerator overnight or defrost in the microwave- pull back seal and microwave for two minutes
  2. Heat ingredients in a small metal sauce pan over medium heat
  3. Mix thoroughly, stirring as needed
  4. Bring to a simmer and remove from heat
  5. Cool to room temperature, cover and refrigerate
