Benefits of Drinking Tea

Health: There are plenty of health benefits drinking black tea and other teas provide.Tea is chock full of antioxidants, can help keep you heart healthy and can even protect against cancer. Tea also promotes strong bones and a healthy smile too.

Energy: Tea does have caffeine, but not as much as coffee and most other caffeinated beverages. Tea will give you a slight jolt of energy, but not enough that will have you crash hours later. Plus, unlike other caffeine drinks, tea does not have enough caffeine to dehydrate you.

Weight: Unsweetened tea is naturally free of calories, and some studies suggest that tea can actually boost your metabolic rate too, meaning you burn more calories drinking a cup of tea than drinking an equal amount of water.

I love tea, hot or iced! There are health benefits to drinking tea, especially herbal teas, as they contain many antioxidants. I also use a sugar substitute in my tea. Tea does contain some caffeine, however not as much as coffee or other caffeinated drinks. I like that it keeps me hydrated and is better tasting than water!
