"No Cheese" Cheesy Fondue

This "No Cheese" Cheesy Fondue recipe will trick your guests for sure. Even though the color and texture of this fondue recipe resembles cheese, you won't find any here. This is packed with veggies, nuts and spice all blended together.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1 yellow/orange bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup kombucha
  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast (optional - not raw)
  • 2 tablespoons agar agar or psyllium seed mixed with 4 tablespoons water
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon tumeric (heaping)

Instructions

  1. Blend. Blend twice to warm.

  2. Serve with raw crackers and veges: carrots, cucumber,broccoli, celery and sugar peas work well.

  3. Warm gently and pour into fondue pot.
