Currently, this recipe includes green beans, kidney beans, and edamame, but you can swap any of these beans for white beans, black beans, or chickpeas. You can make this recipe your own, and it'll be delicious every single time. Because this recipe takes only 15 minutes to make, you can serve this three bean salad in almost no time at all. Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound green beans, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup minced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon county dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup frozen edamame, thawed
  • 1 (15-ounce) can no-salt-added kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Instructions

  1. Steam the green beans until tender, about 5 minutes.

  2. Rinse under cold water, and drain well.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, onion, mustard, sugar, and salt.

  4. Mix in the green beans, edamame, and kidney beans.
