This Easy Slow Cooker Chicken and Spaghetti is a family-favorite meal that will soon become a go-to recipe. This chicken and spaghetti recipe is super simple to make, and the fresh ingredients ensure that your meal is always delicious. Because it takes eight hours to cook, you can start this slow cooker recipe in the morning and enjoy a yummy dinner when you get home. It doesn't get any easier than putting your ingredients in the slow cooker and then not worrying about it all day. The best news is that all of these everyday ingredients are easy to find, so you won't have to spend hours searching through the grocery store.

Serves: 8

Slow Cooker Time LOW: 8 hr

Ingredients
  • 2 large carrots
  • 2 large celery stalks, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15-ounce) can diced or crushed tomatoes
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless, chicken breasts, cut in half
  • 1 (10-ounce) package spaghetti
  • 1/3 cup parsley or green onions, chopped
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

This chicken spaghetti recipe was inspired by Slow Cooker Chicken and Spaghetti Recipe from iFOODreal.


 

Instructions
  1. Light grease a slow cooker and set on High.
  2. Add vegetables, tomatoes, broth, and the seasonings. Add the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on high for 4 1/2 hours or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  4. Remove the chicken and shred. Return the chicken to the slow cooker.
  5. Add the pasta, breaking in half if needed to fit into the slow cooker and the pasta is covered with the sauce.
  6. Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until the pasta is cooked.
  7. Add the parsley, green onions, and cheese.

I don't usually make spaghetti in my slow cooker, but I'd like to try making this recipe at home. It seems like it would be super easy to make!

This tasted pretty good - the flavors and seasoning was spot on. Unfortunately, it looked unappetizing. The spaghetti noodles were kind of pale and clumped together.
