The Vacu Vin Citrus Press and Carafe is a great two-in-one pitcher for making flavored water and juices. The top of the carafe has a manual juicer and filter. You juice your choice of fruit right into the carafe and serve.
The pitcher has three components: the carafe, lid, and juicer press. The juicer part of the carafe works great. Simply place a half of the fruit in the juicer and twist down using the green juice press. I really like that the entire juicer can be removed and used separately from the carafe, and the carafe can be used without the juicer attached.
The pitcher is made of plastic so you don't need to worry about dropping it or pushing it over while juicing. Serving your juice straight from the carafe couldn't be simpler. Once the green press is removed, you can pour directly into a glass. The lid keeps seeds from trickling into your glass while you pour which is key to the function of this carafe.
Storing your fresh juice is easy because the green press also doubles as a sealed lid. Once you are finished using the carafe and citrus press, all the pieces can be put in the dishwasher.
