Potato Potato Beef Stew

With white and sweet potatoes, plus other root vegetables and sirloin, this Potato Potato Beef Stew from Lauren @ BalancedForkHealthyLife.com is definitely one of the tastiest slow cooker beef stew recipes. Best of all, this recipe is also gluten free. Make a batch of this easy beef stew soon!

Cooking Time: 5 hr 30 min

Ingredients
  • 1 pound small white potatoes, cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into bite size pieces
  • 6 carrots, peeled and cut into bite size pieces
  • 6 parsnips, peeled and cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 2 cans garlic and onion canned tomatoes, drained
  • 2 pounds sirloin meat tips
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons thyme, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
  1. Put all the ingredients in the slow cooker and heat on low for 5 to 5 and a half hours, stirring occasionally.
     
  2. Serve hot!
