Hobo Sunrise Pizza

This crescent breakfast pizza is the perfect way to start you day out the right way. Fill up with protein-packed breakfast egg recipes like the Hobo Sunrise Pizza to greet the sunrise and begin with all of these healthy breakfast foods.

Serves: 8

Cooking Time: 30 min

Ingredients
  • 1 pound turkey or vegetarian sausage, browned
  • 1 package reduced fat crescent rolls (refrigerated dough)
  • 5 eggs, or equivalent egg substitute
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 12 ounces frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1 cup part-skim cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
     
  2. Grease a 9x13-inch glass or metal bakin pan.
     
  3. Unroll and press crescent roll dough into the bottom of the pan.
     
  4. Crumble browned sausage over the top of the crust, distributing evenly.
     
  5. Spread hashbrowns over sausage, and top with cheese.
     
  6. Beat eggs and milk with a wire whisk until thorougly combined, then pour over the top of the pizza.
     
  7. Bake 25 to 30 minues or until crust is golden brown and egg in the center has set.
     
  8. Serve in slices with salsa for dipping.
