Ingredients

  • 6 cup frenched green beans, blanched
  • 1 pint fat free sour cream
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cup reduced fat Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 ounce mushrooms, sliced and browned
  • 3 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Combine fat free sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, 1 and a half cups of the Parmesan cheese, pepper flakes and black pepper.
     
  3. Stir in turkey bacon bacon, browned mushrooms and green onions. Add green beans and mix thoroughly.
     
  4. Place green beans in a 9 by 13-inch casserole which has been sprayed with cooking spray. Top with the rest of the Parmesan cheese.
     
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F until top begins to brown, about 20 to 30 minutes.
     
  6. If the green beans are bubbling but the cheese isn't browning, turn it on broil for just a second. Let set for 10-15 minutes before serving.
