"When the cooler weather comes, warm food is what is most comforting! These bowls are made in one large skillet (except for the lentils which are previously cooked). The fat rendered from the (high quality) bacon provides the oil and flavoring you need. This recipe works well to feed 2-3 people as an entree or 4 as a side dish. You can substitute the components for ones you have on hand. This makes for easy batch cooking and taking to work or school!"
