Garden Fresh Salsa

You don't have to be a gardener to make this quick salsa recipe. Garden Fresh Salsa is full of fantastic Mexican food flavors that will spice up your best at-home fiesta. Make this as a party dip or as a topping for chicken and fish. Yum!

Notes


If you prefer a milder salsa, remove the seeds and membrane from the jalapeno before tossing into the food processor.

Makes1 1/2 cups of salsa

Ingredients

  • 7 roma tomatoes, quartered
  • 1/2 cup (or one half of) a medium white onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, halved
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients into the bowl of a food processor.

  2. Pulse until salsa reaches desired consistency.

  3. Add additional salt as needed to taste.
