What's your favorite chocolate covered nut? Although almonds are divine with chocolate, try this recipe for Chocolate Covered Pecans. This is a no bake dessert that really hits the spot.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder, carob
  • 1/4 cup coconut nectar, honey or sweetener of choice
  • dash of vanilla powder
  • dash of salt

Instructions

  1. Melt all ingredients except pecans, gently over a double boiler, and whisk until creamy. Then add the pecans.

  2. Use a slotted spoon to remove the nuts from the chocolate, and lay on parchment paper-lined cookie sheets.

  3. Chill/freeze 10 minutes or more.
