Cooking MethodSlow Cooker

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, or 9 to 12 chicken tenderloins
  • 1/4 cup natural ketchup
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, put chicken breasts or tenderloins.
     
  2. Add ketchup, cider vinegar, brown sugar, olive oil, and chopped onion.
     
  3. For seasoning, add a few shakes of chili powder, cinnamon, smoked paprika, cumin, and salt.
     
  4. Turn slow cooker on low and cook 4 to 5 hours.
     
  5. When cooked, use two forks to pull the meat apart into shreds.
     
  6. Serve on a sandwich or in a bowl.
