Ingredients

  • 1 pound 97% lean ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • salt to taste
  • 3/4 pound turkey bacon, cut in small pieces
  • 2 can pork 'n beans (about 31-ounce)
  • 1/4 cup DiabetiSweet Sugar Substitute Brown Sugar
  • 3 tablespoon white vinegar
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown meat in skillet, drain off fat and place cooked beef into slow cooker.
     
  2. Brown bacon and onions, drain off fat.
     
  3. Add onions, bacon, and remaining ingredients to slow cooker.
     
  4. Stir well. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
