The Hollywood Cookie Diet

What it is: It doesn’t get much easier than the Hollywood Cookie Diet. Simply replace Breakfast and lunch with one of the diet plan’s individually wrapped cookies, have one for a mid-morning snack and one for a mid-afternoon snack, and then eat a healthy dinner. Overall, you consume four cookies a day and one dinner. This diet has been reportedly used by such celebrities as Kelly Clarkson and Mandy Moore.

How it works: This diet is based on restricted caloric intake. By eating the low-calorie cookies instead of meals and snacks, your body is receiving less calories than it is using throughout the day.

What you do: Each of the cookies contains 150 calories and comes in three flavors (chocolate chip, lemon, and oatmeal raisin) or can be found in a variety pack containing all three for around $20 for three-day supply. For dinner, the Hollywood Cookie Diet website contains a downloadable list of suitable recipes including Lemony Lentil Soup and Tuna Fish and Cannellini Bean Salad.

Benefits: The cookies for the Hollywood Cookie Diet contain 13 vitamins and minerals so you won’t be missing out totally on nutrients. The cookies are easily available online or in most major pharmacies. And lastly, this diet is simple as they come.

Downsides: The Hollywood Cookie Diet is extremely low in calories and therefore is not a long-term solution to weight loss. The available cookies may not work for those with certain food allergies, not to mention, there’s no exercise suggestions with the diet plan. And above all else, this meal plan could get pretty expensive!
