Light Tiramisu

For a lighter take on a classic Italian dessert recipe, give this quick and easy Light Tiramisu recipe a try. With healthy recipe substitutions, this easy Italian is way healthier than any other Tiramisu you've had before.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces plain low-fat yogurt, drained
  • 2/3 cup sugar substitute
  • 1/4 cup Marsala wine
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups light whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 cup strong espresso, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons Tuca liqueur
  • 36 reduced sugar ladyfinger cookies
  • 1 cup dark chocolate bits

Instructions

  1. Beat yogurt and sugar substitute until light. Blend in wine and vanilla. Fold in light whipped cream.
     
  2. In a small bowl, combine coffee and liqueur.
     
  3. To assemble, split each ladyfinger in half, dip in coffee and liqueur mixture and layer bottom of a 9x13-inch glass dish.
     
  4. Top cookies with half the yogurt mixture and half the dark chocolate bits; repeat layers ending with dark chocolate bits.
     
  5. Cover and refrigerate from two hours to overnight before serving.
