No one will have any idea that these brownies have both avocados and black beans in them.


Packed with healthy ingredients, these flourless brownies are both nutritious and delicious. But don't just take our word for it; we've compiled a few facts about what makes black beans and avocados so healthy.

Black beans replace the oil and eggs that you would typically find in a brownie recipe, so you can be sure that you're cutting down on the calorie count. Plus the black beans ensure that these brownies are jam packed with protein and fiber. In this recipe, you'll use three cups of black beans which means that your pan of brownies will contain 126 g of protein and 89 g of dietary fiber. Traditional brownies simple can't compare!

But black beans aren't the only ingredient to make these brownies healthy; this recipe also calls for an avocado. I've made black bean brownies before and I've heard of using avocado in baking, but I've definitely never heard of using the two together! I will give this recipe a try though, because you can never have too many healthy brownie recipes.
