Greek Yogurt Pancakes

Greek Yogurt Pancakes

"Greek yogurt pancakes are delicious, easy to make, and full of healthy protein to make you feel good about breakfast. Our Greek yogurt pancakes were actually a bit of a happy accident! Aunt Tracey was visiting (remember the bacon parmesan crackers?!) and we ran out of ingredients for regular pancakes, so we raided the pantry and fridge to make these! Fluffy pancakes are made by a chemical leavening reaction. In traditional pancakes it’s done with baking powder, but for these Greek yogurt pancakes we relied on the reaction between baking soda as a base and yogurt as an acid to create light fluffy Greek yogurt pancakes!"

Greek yogurt is very yummy and adding them to make pancakes sound yummy too plus will lower the calories in the pancakes. My family make be able to use less syrup since the pancakes will already be so tasty.

I've been hearing a lot about using greek yogurt as substitutes and I've always wanted to give it a try! I think pancakes is a pretty good excuse to give this a go!

It's so fun taking small steps to make breakfast healthier! These greek pancakes sound like a fabulous way to update a classic breakfast!
