Make homemade donut holes that everyone will love with Dorothy Delaney's Doughnut Holes recipe. This recipe is gluten free, vegan and fit for a raw food diet. Enjoy these no guilt doughnut holes for breakfast or dessert.

Serves: 12

Preparation Time: 10 min

Ingredients
  • 1 cup almonds, ground
  • 1 cup dates, soaked and drained
  • 1 dash vanilla powder
  • 3 tablespoons coconut, shredded
  • 1 cup dried pineapple (optional)
  • 1 cup dried apricots (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons coconut crystals/raw sugar plus 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons carob/cacao powder plus 1 teaspoon honey/agave/coconut syrup plus 3 drops olive/coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons shredded coconut (optional)
Instructions
  1. Ground the almonds for 1 to 2 minutes in the food processor.
     
  2. Add the dates until the mixture forms a ball.
     
  3. Add in the vanilla, coconut and either fruit, or chocolate/carob by hand. Roll into balls, then roll in coconut, carob/chocolate powder or cinnamon sugar.
